Jason graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a B.S. in Accounting and an MBA. He is a Certified Public Accountant with over 10 years of public accounting experience, which ranges from tax preparation and bookkeeping duties at a small, two-person accounting shop to a position as a manager with one of the four largest accounting firms in the world. He also holds the credential of Certified Fraud Examiner
His work experience includes assisting clients with income tax compliance and planning, litigation accounting support, financial statement preparation, bookkeeping, as well as payroll and sales tax filings. He has also prepared financial projections, forecasts, lost profit damage calculations, division of marital property, and business interruption determinations.
As an accounting professional, Jason believes it is now more important than ever to stay ahead of growing technological trends, which can make both your personal and professional lives easier. He has a "firm of the future" mentality, and provides a full range of accounting and tax services to clients from many different areas of the globe through the use of online and cloud-based accounting technology, such as QuickBooks Online and Wave Online Accounting Software.
Jason is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor and also a member of the Wave Online Accounting ProNetwork. Jason is on the Board of Directors of the New Orleans EMS Foundation where he serves as Treasurer. He is also a member of the Young Leadership Council and Gulf South Chamber.
